Writing for the OnLondon website, Caroline Pidgeon has set out her concerns at the Metropolitan Police's reponse to the powerful and damning report of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel, with its findings of institutional corruption.
Caroline writes:
After an inspection report showed that the central section of Crossrail will not be able to open until May 2022, Caroline Pidgeon said:
“Crossrail has been plagued with exaggerated claims about its progress and in the last three years opening dates have repeatedly turned out to be wildly over optimistic.
“Even at the beginning of the year it was being claimed that the central section would be open by this Christmas.
Caroline spoke to ITV London's Simon Harris about the GLA Oversight Committee session questioning entrepreneurs about trade missions, including questions to Jennifer Arcuri on her close involvement with London and Partners.
Caroline was pleased to receive a petition from Warren Farm Nature Reserve in Ealing, calling for the Mayor to support designating the reserve and the surrounding meadows with Statutory Local Nature Reserve status.
The petition has over 10,000 signatures and was delivered by the lovely owl in the picture!
Caroline Pidgeon joined Liberal Democrats from London and across the country at the #LeaseholdersTogether rally, pushing for the Government to protect leaseholders, with a superb speech from Daisy Cooper MP.
