On 24th November, Caroline joined Ed Davey and team campaigning in Surbiton Hill. The whole team got a superb response on the doorstep!
Caroline Pidgeon expressed her serious concern at the news of the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) refusing to announce before the General Election whether it will investigate allegations about a conflict of interest in Boris Johnson’s dealings with US businesswoman Jennifer Arcuri while he was Mayor.
Caroline said:
The BBC reports on Transport for London's figures showing that by September 2019, the cash pile of unclaimed balances and deposits on dormant Oyster cards had reached £399m.
Caroline told the BBC:
"TfL never stops bombarding us with advertisements and information campaigns, but highlighting this cash mountain is one issue that they remain very quiet about.
Caroline had two excellent campaigning trips to support fantastic Lib Dem General Election candidates over the first weekend of November: firstly in Haringey with Dawn Barnes and then in Bermondsey with Humaira Ali.
