In the London Assembly, Caroline Pidgeon spoke out against the Conservatives draconian & anti-democratic Public Order Act and Labour's passive support for the legislation.

Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley faced questions from the Liberal Democrats on the emergence of new evidence into 'Partygate’ today at the London Assembly, including over the ‘Jingle & Mingle” holiday party for the Shaun Bailey for London campaign.
At the London Assembly, Caroline pressed the Mayor to introduce an amnesty period when the Ultra-Low Emission Zone expansion takes effect, so that the scheme can be introduced in a way that brings the public with it.

In the London Assembly Policing Committee, Caroline questioned the Deputy Mayor for Police & Crime and the Assistant Commissioner for Met Operations on the discovery of missing files relating to the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel.
The Met are still unable to explain why these files were locked in a cabinet for 9 years.
In May's Mayor's Question Time, Caroline pressed the Mayor on scrutiny mechanisms for the Metropolitan Police. A positive step was the confirmation that outside expertise will be an important feature of the new Policing Board – as Caroline has called for in the past.
With the Ultra Low Emission Zone expansion imminent, Caroline Pidgeon pushed the Mayor to reinstate the buses that were cancelled in Richmond during the pandemic – but he could not commit to even reviewing the issue.

The Mayor and Transport for London have claimed that there will be two new buses in the Borough of Sutton. Unfortunately, as Caroline Pidgeon's questioning of the Mayor revealed, there are no new bus routes – just tweaks to existing ones.
In the London Assembly Police and Crime Committee, Caroline Pidgeon therefore asked the Met Commissioner to commit to stopping the closure of police stations – which are a core part of our frontline policing system and have been decimated.
Responding to Caroline Pidgeon's questions in the London Assembly Police and Crime Committee, Baroness Casey admitted she would expect the numbers of officers dismissed for misconduct to be "in the several hundreds".
Caroline said:
