Mayor is too late on excessive severance payments for senior TfL staff

Caroline Pidgeon AM, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, commenting on the severance payments set out in TfL’s Annual Report, and the decision of the Mayor of London to commission a review into notice periods and severance arrangements for senior staff across the GLA Group, said:

"Passengers will find these huge severance payments galling at a time when Tube reliability has been in decline and many bus services are being cut back.

Campaigning in London Bridge and West Bermondsey

Caroline joined a great team of Southwark Liberal Democrat campaigners to meet London Bridge and West Bermondsey residents on the doorstep, in the runup to the delayed local election on 14th June in the ward.

Millicent Fawcett - a stunning and very important statue

Caroline was proud to be at the official unveiling on 24th April of the statue of Millicent Fawcett in Parliament Square, commemorating her fight for women's rights and especially the right to vote.

This is a wonderful statue and the ceremony was moving and beautiful.
