Speaking to the Guardian about the the five-month delay by the Garden Bridge Trust in publishing its accounts, Caroline Pidgeon said:
“I suspect that the Garden Bridge Trust is using administrative tidiness as a desperate excuse to postpone publishing their accounts.
Caroline Pidgeon, Liberal Democrat London Assembly transport spokesperson, commenting on the Mayor’s call for TfL to take immediate charge of the failing Govia Thamelink Railway Southern franchise, said:
“As a daily user of Sothern Rail I am painfully aware of its appalling service that has been provided over many months.
“Fundamental errors have been made in terms of planning by its senior management.
“The permanent solution must be stripping out much of the franchise from Govia and running it by London Overground.
Caroline Pidgeon, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, commenting ahead of the Mayor’s launch of proposals to clean up London’s toxic air which are being announced on the 60th anniversary of the 1956 Clean Air Act said:
“Radical measures to tackle air pollution cannot come soon enough in London.”
Caroline Pidgeon AM joined Bexley Lib Dems and "20's Plenty" campaigners on Sunday 26th June to support by-election candidate Simone Reynolds.
The team knocked on doors and spoke to many residents concerned about the speed of vehicles on local residential streets and next to local schools.
Responding to a question from Caroline Pidgeon expressing concern for the safety of pensioners and disabled people, the Mayor has announced that TfL will trial "mini-zebra crossings" on cycle routes that bypass bus stops.
