Caroline supports campaign to save Downham fire station
Caroline recently visited Downham fire station to give her support to the local campaign by local residents and Liberal Democrats to save the fire station.
The fire station is situated in the south of Lewisham and serves people living in Bromley as well as Lewisham.
The campaign to save the fire station has already generated a petition signed by more than 4500 people.
Caroline Pidgeon AM went to her home town of Eastleigh to help the local Lib Dems with the Parliamentary by-election.
Caroline Pidgeon AM was delighted to join many local Councillors and other local members out door knocking on Saturday 9th February. The team were joined by Council by-election candidate Sushila Abraham who is standing to represent Berrylands Ward following the sad death before Christmas of the wonderful Cllr Frances Moseley. Sushila has lived in Surbiton for 20 years and is a local solicitor specialising in family law.
Caroline kick-started the new year out and about campaigning with Kingston Liberal Democrats. Caroline joined Sarah Ludford MEP, local campaigner Robin Meltzer and other European candidates knocking on doors and talking to local residents about issues of concern.
Caroline joined our candidate Marisha Ray campaigning in Croydon North in the parliamentary by-election on 29th November.
Caroline Pidgeon AM has been out in Walworth campaigning with local resident Dr Ben Johnson and the team against Labour's terrible housing plans.
Caroline joined London campaigners Robin Meltzer, Chris Smith and Lewisham Leader Cllr Chris Maines campaigning with Janet Hurst, the Lib Dems' fantastic candidate for the Whitefoot by-election on Thursday 11th October.
Caroline joined Brian Paddick, Duwayne Brooks, Assembly Candidate Bridget Fox and local Lib Dem councillors and campaigners out and about in Islington on eve of poll.
