Caroline Pidgeon, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, commenting on the announcement that the Mayor has asked TfL to consult on expanding the Ultra Low Emission Zone London-wide, said:
“I welcome this announcement. The extension of the ULEZ is right and necessary to tackle toxic air pollution. Air pollution does not stop at the South and North Circular.
Following the full scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and the atrocities being committed, Caroline Pidgeon, leader of the Liberal Democrat London Assembly Group, has today written to the Chief Executive Officer of the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA), asking that the pension fund divest from any Russian companies or bonds.
