The case for Crossrail 2 is overwhelming

Writing for Dave Hill's new OnLondon site, Caroline Pidgeon explains the overwhelmingly strong case for investing in Crossrail 2:

The case for Crossrail 2 is overwhelming. It would free up space for around 15 more trains in the morning peak from Hampshire and Surrey, providing 11,800 extra seats into Waterloo.

More than a million public transport journeys every day would be significantly better because of it. An additional 200,000 new homes and 200,000 new jobs would be supported.

Croydon tram drivers' fatigue warnings must be investigated

As concerning reports emerge that Croydon tram drivers had raised concerns about their shift patterns disrupting sleep, two years before the fatal accident in November 2016, Caroline Pidgeon has tabled a written question to the Mayor to demand a full answer.

Success of the Hopper ticket shows need for Mayor to pinch more fare policies from his opponents

Caroline Pidgeon, Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member, commenting on the forthcoming first anniversary of the Hopper ticket and the news that over one hundred million journeys have been made with the Hopper bus ticket said:
